Pressure Relief Valve (PRV)
A boiler pressure relief valve releases excess pressure to protect the boiler and heating system. It opens when pressure rises too high and helps prevent damage. If the valve leaks or discharges often, you may see water from the outlet pipe or drops in boiler pressure. Pressure can also climb quickly when heating runs. Replace the correct pressure relief valve to stop unwanted discharge and keep pressure safe.
