A boiler heat exchanger transfers heat from the burner to your heating water. It helps the boiler warm radiators and hot water fast. When it blocks or corrodes, heat transfer drops. You may notice weak heating or hot water changes. The boiler can also make kettling or banging noises. Leaks can show under the boiler too.
