Cartridge

A boiler cartridge controls water flow inside a valve, such as a diverter valve or pressure valve. It helps your boiler switch correctly between heating and hot water. A worn cartridge can cause hot water going hot and cold, weak flow, leaks, or heating not changing over properly. Replacing the cartridge often fixes the problem without replacing the full valve.
